ASSP Email Interface

The ASSP Email Interface allows you perform many functions related to the Anti-Spam Proxy by simply sending an email form your domain based email account(ie: user@mydomain.com ).

assp-spam@ — to report spam messages that was not detected.
How to use it: Forward the spam message to assp-spam@mydomain.com (replace mydomain.com with your real domain name).
Make sure you are sending the report email using our SMTP server with authentication turned On.
It is preferable to forward it as an attachment, but you can forward messages inline also.
Be sure to remove any automatically added signatures from forwarded messages.
In a short time you should receive a confirmation message.

assp-notspam@ — to report legitimate messages that were determined to be spam.
How to use it: Forward the message to assp-notspam@mydomain.com (replace mydomain.com with your real domain name).
Make sure you are sending the report email using our SMTP server with authentication turned On.
It is preferable to forward it as an attachment, but you can forward messages inline also.
Be sure to remove any automatically added signatures from forwarded messages.
In a short time you should receive a confirmation message.

assp-white@ — for WhiteList additions.
How to use it: Send a message to assp-white@mydomain.com (replace mydomain.com with your real domain name) with the email address that you wish whitelist in the BCC field or in the body of the message (one perl line). Note that no email will be delivered to any address except assp-white@mydomain.com.
Make sure you are sending the report email using our SMTP server with authentication turned On.
In a short time you should receive a confirmation message.
Tips: If you wanted to add all the addresses in your address book to the whitelist, create a message to assp-white@mydomain.com and then add your entire address book to the BCC part of the message or in the body of the message (one per line) and click send. Note that no mail will be delivered to any address except assp-white@mydomain.com (and that won’t actually be passed to your mail transport). Within a short time you’ll receive a response from ASSP showing the results of your message.

assp-notwhite@ — for WhiteList removals.
How to use it: Send a message to assp-notwhite@mydomain.com (replace mydomain.com with your real domain name) with the email address that you wish to remove from the whitelist in the BCC field or in the body of the message. Note that no email will be delivered to any address except assp-notwhite@mydomain.com.
Make sure you are sending the report email using our SMTP server with authentication turned On.
In a short time you should receive a confirmation message.

assp-persblack@ — Any mail sent by local/authenticated users to assp-persblack@mydomain.com (replace mydomain.com with your real domain name) will be interpreted as a request to add the listed address(es) to your personal blackListed addresses. Whole domains can be blocked by putting a wildcard in the userpart of the address: ‘*@example.com’. You can receive a complete report about all your personal black list entries by sending an empty add request.

assp-notpersblack@ — Any mail sent by local/authenticated users to assp-notpersblack@mydomain.com (replace mydomain.com with your real domain name) will be interpreted as a request to remove the listed address(es) from your personal blackListed addresses.
Make sure you are sending the report email using our SMTP server with authentication turned On.
In a short time you should receive the report message.

assp-analyze@ — Any mail sent or forwarded by local/authenticated users to asspanalyze@mydomain.com (replace mydomain.com with your real domain name) will be interpreted as a request for spam analyzing the mail. In a short time after your request you must receive an email with analyzing results.
Make sure you are sending the report email using our SMTP server with authentication turned On.

assp-block@ — to see blocked emails.
This function send you a report of the last blocked email messages.
How to use it: Send a message to asspblock@mydomain.com (replace mydomain.com with your real domain name) from any of your @mydomain.com email addresses (depending which email address report do you wish). Soon, you will receive an email with a list of all the blocked emails on that specific address. You can also click in the email to resend the message.
Make sure you are sending the report email using our SMTP server with authentication turned On.
In a short time you should receive the report message.

assp-noproc@ — to add an email address to noprocessing list (bypass the spam filters)
This function add a specific local email address to the noprocessing list, this means any message sent to to this address will bypass the spam filters.
How to use it: Send a message from the address that you wish to add to the noprocessing list to asspof@mydomain.com (replace mydomain.com with your real domain name). Once you do that, the sender address (the one you are using to send the message) will bypass all the spam checks.
Make sure you are sending the report email using our SMTP server with authentication turned On.
In a short time you should receive a confirmation message.

assp-renoproc@ — to remove an email address from the noprocessing list.
This function remove a previously added local email address from the noprocessing list.
How to use it: Send a message from the address that you wish to remove from the noprocessing list to asspon@mydomain.com (replace mydomain.com with your real domain name).
Make sure you are sending the report email using our SMTP server with authentication turned On.
In a short time you should receive a confirmation message.
